and increase morale. Plants even clean the air of many common
indoor pollutants.
NASA studies have shown that plants remove most
indoor toxins from the air. Pollution indoors can be 20-100
times the level found outdoors. Using a variety of plants can combat
indoor pollution economically and efficiently. The worst culprits
of indoor toxins are new carpets, furniture, and paint.
Many common houseplants make great indoor air cleaners.
